Zdrasvuitee - здравствуйте

Zdrastvuitee is one of the standard Russian greetings. Grammatically the word is an imperative form of the Russian verb that means “to be well”. So when you greet a person with zdrastvuitee you literally wish him or her health and prosperity.

The form zdrastvuitee is normally used in a formal setting. In casual conversation with people one is familiar with, zdrastvuitee becomes zdrastvui.
